CBL's Data Recovery Service
The Data recovery Services CBL grant includes services for any media, any brand, any operating system, physically damaged hard drives, deleted, overwritten or corrupted files and emails, RAID, SAN, NAS and other server failures, tape recovery from overwrites, backup restore services, flash, digital and photo recovery programs.
At receiving the media at any of their facilities worldwide, clients are given a free, non-intrusive evaluation to determine the specific cause of data loss. Then, their staff will provide you with the result of the evaluation, give you a written quotation and confirm the next steps of your hard drive, RAID array, tape drive, notebook or other data recovery service before charging any fee. The client has to authorize the given quotation in order to continue the data recovery service.
After it has been approved, the data recovery process will proceed based on the target file specifications and evaluation assessment. The data recovery project is performed in a fully secured laboratory and when it comes to hard drives with physical damage, a class 100 static-free clean room facility is where the repair takes place. A standard service takes about 3-5 business days while rush service takes for 12 to 72 hours.
The material is taken through a strict quality control procedure upon the recovery of data. This is to ensure that the data recovery team was able to recover all the necessary target files that the client has requested and identified in the evaluation. The procedure also includes testing of additional files to check if the recovered data is in useable state. After the verification of the authenticity of the recovered data, CBL will proceed to the packaging of the data to be returned to the client. In most cases CDs are used to contain the recovered data. If the client asked for a different media option, a nominal fee is needed. Other possible destination media include DVDs, standard hard disk drives, online delivery via FTP, external firewire and backup drives.
